Fishidy has a large selection of aerial maps of lake across the U.S. with depth information, launch sites and local information. Their website is also mobile friendly and there are Android and iPhone apps available. You do need to register; however, the resources you get with their free registration are valuable. There is a premium version the site will suggest you join from time to time, but the features of the free version have proven to be sufficient.


Navionics WebApp

This is a great, very straight forward, lake mapping system. It has a comprehensive database of lakes, depths and features such as launch sites, lighthouses, topographical information, etc. Navigation through the system is simple with a user friendly interface. The website is also mobile friendly for use on the lake.



The Weather Channel’s Fishing Forecast

This is a trusted website that provides information specific to anglers such as sun rise and set, moon phases, wind, and barometric pressure. You can search by specific lake or area and there is a mobile app available.

Fish Weather

Fish Weather is a basic constructed website that does one thing; provide detailed weather information. This site provides very specific data that allows anglers to see specific wind conditions, long term weather patterns and charted weather data charted multiple times a day. Because of how comprehensive the information provided is, anglers can analyze the effects on fishing. There is also an Android and iPhone app available.
